Our Process
Steps To A Successful Project
Here are the steps that are typically part of any new build or renovation project. These will of course be customized in working closely with you to develop and finalize a quote before the project begins. We look forward to working with you!
1
Reach Out
Regardless of the size of your project, reach out to us early in the process by calling Rob at 250-470-3919 or sending him an email at rob@lonewolfhomes.com.
2
Concept
We will then get right back to you to set up a site meeting. At this meeting we will listen to your ideas for the space being renovated and/or addition requirements. If this is a new home build, we’ll listen to your vision for your new home and/or review plans (if existing). This could take place in your home or at the building site. We may also take measurements, get your ‘wishlists’ for functionality and/or materials, and discuss the timeline and budget range. It’s very important to discuss these details up front in order to meet your expectations for scope, budget & timeline for completion. We will provide recommendations during this discussion, based on our experience.
3
Scope & Budget for Approval
Once we have gathered all the information for your project, we will create and present a Project Scope and Budget or a Contract for Custom Home Build. We will meet in person to go over the proposed details and adjust based on your feedback. Once the scope & budget is approved, we will schedule your project in!
We will then provide a Draw Schedule with the critical milestones associated along the way. We typically do not require a deposit up front. The milestones will act as the timeline for the project.
4
Construction Begins
Rob, the General Contractor, will always be your primary point person. He will coordinate with the entire LoneWolf Homes team, professionals & sub trades. We will provide key dates to you in advance, to give you time to make the decisions on everything from electrical layout to finishing materials to appliances. Larger projects require us to coordinate all the personnel and place orders for materials to ensure your project is completed on time and on budget. We believe communication is key to any successful project and having someone you can trust in your home is vital. We endeavor to keep our clients in the loop at all times and take the stress out of your project.
5
Completion
Once your project is complete, we will do a preliminary walk through to inspect and ensure any deficiencies are remedied. After we are both satisfied a final walk through and handing off keys will bring your project to a close so you can begin to enjoy your updated or new home.
